The Ryder Cup later this month will include Netflix cameras at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club, but access will be heavily restricted.
U.S. captain Zach Johnsontold the Associated Presson Wednesday that the 12 American players unanimously decided to keep certain areas of the tournament in Italy off limits to "full swing" camera crews They decided to do so.
It is unclear which specific areas of the tournament will be off-limits, but Johnson said the American team room will be one of them.

And we all felt it was best to get through that week of the tournament in a way that would preserve the sanctity and holiness of Team USA. We eliminated scenarios."

Netflix is currently producing a second season of its popular golf documentary series "Full Swing," which launched earlier this year. A second season has also been announced, but it is unclear when it will be released. The Ryder Cup, the PGA Tour season, and LIV Golf's latest drama and merger are sure to be a major focus of this season.
Netflix declined to comment to the Associated Press. It is unclear whether the European team has placed the same restrictions on Netflix's camera crews.

While Netflix may have missed an interesting moment in the Ryder Cup, Justin Thomas said the decision was a simple one.

The Ryder Cup will officially open on September 28 outside Rome. The U.S. has not won an event on European soil since 1993.
